Indecent Exposure - Tilley

Brooks RCMP have charged a Medicine Hat man with an indecent act stemming from an incident in Tilley, Alberta.

During the afternoon of April 8, 2010, a man dressed in women's clothing approached three children at a playground in Tilley.

The male engaged the children in conversation, then lifted a skirt he was wearing and exposed a pair of women's underwear. The children quickly fled the area and ran home.

As a result police have identified and charged 59-year-old James Victor Perini with one count of an indecent act and one count of failing to comply with an undertaking.

Perini is in custody and appeared in Medicine Hat Provincial Court on April 15th.

The Brooks RCMP are asking the public to report any similar occurrences that may have happened over the past couple of weeks.

Police are also asking parents to remind their children about the dangers of strangers and how to protect themselves when in public places.
