Brooks RCMP are investigating a home invasion that occurred in Duchess. At about 9:30 p.m. on April 3, unknown person(s) entered an unlocked residence on Margaret Avenue. Once inside, the homeowner was confronted and assaulted by the culprit. The culprit stole the victim's wallet containing cash and credit cards as well as a small amount of illegal drugs (grass). The culprit departed the residence and entered a small car, with a loud muffler, which was parked in the alley of the residence and left the area.
